Committees

The Association's standing committee.

Colinas Del Sol keeps its governance simple. The Association currently has one standing committee — the Architectural Control Committee.

Architectural Control Committee

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) reviews proposed exterior improvements so that changes across the neighborhood stay consistent with the community's covenants.

The standards and restrictions the ACC applies are set out in the Amended and Substituted Declaration of Restrictive Covenants (the subdivision's CC&Rs) — the reference for what is and isn't permitted on a lot.

What needs ACC review: new construction, additions and exterior remodels, walls and fences, driveways, and other changes visible from the road or adjoining lots. When in doubt, ask before you build.

Owners complete an ACC Application for approval before work begins — download the form here, and send questions to the Board.
